I'm so glad you have taken a few minutes of your time to check out my website. I hope to interact with you here. I hope you will consider me a friend, someone who will encourage you along life's journey.
I have been writing since 2012. Since I started I have published five books and three albums, with my fourth album, which is my first Christmas album, being released Christmas 2016. I put a lot of meaning into my songs, so that they're not only pleasant to listen to, but will give you "meat and potatoes" with the lyrics, something from God's Word to inspire you and even increase your knowledge of God's truths. I'm not a big fan of songs that say the same thing over and over, so even though it's pretty popular in our culture, I've somewhat rebelled against that standard! I've been told my style is unique. I guess that's a good thing! There's so much music out there, perhaps you would enjoy checking out something that is a little different from what you're used to.
My books have a warm-hearted style to them. I write the way I talk. I'm not really concerned about being perfectly proper, but rather friendly, like we're sitting on a couch together talking about the Lord. My goal is for you to come away from my books not feeling judged, but encouraged. I know I don't like being lectured; that does nothing for me. I'd rather have someone humbly teach me, not as someone high and mighty over me, but someone who is also walking along life's journey, trying to do their best, and honoring God in the process. Then I'll respect that person enough to hear them out.
This site, as in any of my sites, does not welcome profanity or abusive, hostile language. There's no edification in that. This is a respectful site in which we can engage in questions and answers, friendly debate, and kind encouragement. The beauty of free speech and expression, as well as the freedom of religion, is that open communication can occur, but tolerance is a must. We don't all have to agree with each other, and disagreeing does not mean we don't respect or love each other. Intelligent debate that is respectful creates an atmosphere of growth, not hostility or hurtfulness.
